Today, I opened my Food Lover's Companion to a random page and picked the first term I looked at. It just happens this wasn't something I was already familiar with. Hopefully, I'm not the only one who is learning a new word today.
Herbsaint - Developed and made primarily in New Orleans, Herbsaint is an anise-flavored liqueur that is used in such specialties as Oysters Rockefeller.

I have a rehearsal dinner for 125 people tonight. On the menu is pecan crusted trout, grilled asparagus, wild rice pilaf, Kentucky bourbon pecan pie, and key lime pie. Perhaps I should get back to work? Yes, I think so.
